Mogul Invests In Atlantic City Turnaround

A Florida real-estate mogul has set his sights on reviving Atlantic City, starting with Revel Casino, the $2.4 billion failure.

One of the brightest new investments in the city’s future is the new $126 million Waterfront Conference Center, adjoining Harrah’s Casino Hotel — the new site of LCT-NLA Show East on Nov. 8-10. The state-of-the art 100,000-square-foot facility will be completed by September, and is the largest conference facility from Baltimore to Boston. The first convention slated in October will bring 1,400 people to attend the Atlanta-based UniPro Foodservice trade show.
