San Antonio Imposes Toughest Rules To Date On TNCs

AUSTIN, Texas -- The San Antonio City Council voted Dec. 11 to impose new regulations on TNCs such as Uber and Lyft.

About 60 people signed up to participate in public comment, most of whom said they favored delaying the vote to impose the regulations, according to the San Antonio Express-News.

But after nearly three hours of discussion and debate, the Council voted 7-2 in favor of the new regulations.
