Newly Merged Nashville Operation Hires Veteran Exec

PRE-ILCT SHOW DISCLOSURE: The new Grand Avenue team of Carl Haley and Bill Faeth add the experience of Barry Gross as they prepare for an expansion.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. — GRAND AVENUE CHAUFFEURED TRANSPORTATION, Nashville’s largest luxury transportation provider, said today it has hired Barry Gross to two management positions within the company.

Gross will assume the roles of Chief Strategy Officer and will also work directly with Bill Faeth to co-manage Grand Avenue’s national affiliate network/ "Barry comes to Grand Avenue with a proven background in the chauffeured transportation industry," said company president Carl Haley Jr. "He also brings with him a strong vision that will enable us to extend our affiliate relationships. His record of success will immediately help accelerate our growth and further establish Grand Avenue as an innovator and leader in the chauffeured service industry."

Gross most recently served as AGM/affiliate director for ExecuCar Phoenix and director of operations for All Resort Group in Salt Lake City, where he oversaw operations for the seventh and 24th largest limousine fleets nationwide.

“Through his extensive career Barry has demonstrated superlative management skills, as well as exceptional team-building and intuitive client services,” said Bill Faeth, Grand Avenue COO. “He also brings with him substantial experience in the areas of strategy, operations, and affiliate management. I believe Barry is one of the top minds in our industry and is a proven leader who will be instrumental to our continued success.”

Gross will be available for a meet-and-greet when Faeth and Haley host an exclusive industry hospitality event Monday, Feb. 14 at 7 p.m. at the Bally's Hotel & Casino during the 2011 International LCT Show. Bally's is attached to the Paris Las Vegas Hotel, site of the ILCT Show.

Grand Avenue, which recently completed an ACQUISITION OF SILVER OAK TRANSPORTATION, is now the largest chauffeured transportation company in Middle Tennessee, with at least 26 vehicles, and features the most diverse fleet in the state.
