LCT’s operator reality race documents the wins, losses, successes, and challenges of five relatively new operators in the chauffeured transportation industry.

Last year, LCT Magazine launched its first ever “Limo Race” among five upstart operators competing for strongest growing company over a span of 18 months.

The contestants were selected last January at the International LCT Show and head into the final third of their “race” between now and Aug. 1. LCT contributing editor and referee Jim Luff will evaluate the companies at the end of the race.

Meanwhile, the racers have been blogging about their business experiences at the GREAT LIMO RACE BLOG, which provide a real-time reality guide to running a chauffeured transportation operation in its first few years.

Catch the latest updates from contestants GEORGIA BERG, RIC GARZA, and BECKY LARAMEE, and be sure to say hello to them at the 2011 International LCT Show where the racers will regroup and re-position for the final six months.
