NLA President Diane Forgy issues statement on Schuler’s legacy and support of the limousine industry.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — As the chauffeured transportation industry recalls fond memories of the late Dean Schuler, NLA President Diane Forgy released the following statement Tuesday:

“The more I read about the impact that Dean had on so many people’s lives, the more saddened I am about losing him. He cared deeply about the industry and went out of his way to help small operators. I was touched on more than one occasion by him offering his support to me after being elected to the NLA board and this year as President. He has left quite a legacy and some very big shoes to fill. The NLA will be honoring him at our Annual Meeting in Las Vegas during the ILCT Show and will make a memorial contribution when the appropriate charity is announced. We will all miss him dearly.”

The NLA’s annual membership meeting will be held Monday, Feb. 14, 2011 at 1:15 p.m. during the 2011 INTERNATIONAL LCT SHOW at the Paris Las Vegas Hotel.
