A. Harrington Limousine Service of Edison, in business since 1923, is expanding its fleet and client services.
The operator becomes the exclusive chauffeured transportation service of the Islanders hockey team.
UNIONDALE, N.Y. — The New York Islanders announced a deal last week with TRAN-STAR EXECUTIVE TRANSPORTATION SERVICE to make it a corporate partner that will be the official and exclusive limousine provider of the New York Islanders, the Nassau Coliseum, and the LONG ISLAND MARRIOTT.
“Being closely affiliated with the Islanders adds validity to our company,” said Justin P. Paul, executive vice president of Tran-Star Executive, in a statement. “Living on Long Island and having our corporate headquarters here made perfect sense for our firm to sponsor the Islanders. It’s important for our company to move away from traditional forms of advertising and think outside the box.”
As part of this exclusive sponsorship, the Deer Park, N.Y.-based Tran-Star Executive will operate a 24-person shuttle service for guests of the Long Island Marriott. Islanders’ patrons also will have the ability to use its limo service to and from the Long Island Marriott before, during, and after all home games at the Nassau Coliseum.
“This is another great partnership between an established Long Island business and the Islanders and Long Island Marriott properties,” said Justin Johnson, Islanders senior vice president of corporate partnerships and marketing. “Like the Islanders, Tran-Star calls Long Island home, but has an international presence, so there is an added bonus as we are able to support each other locally, nationally and globally.”
The multi-year deal also will allow Tran-Star Executive to offer their services to all Islander fans at a discounted price. Fans can visit the Tran-Star Executive ground transportation kiosk during all regular season games to meet with members of their staff and learn more about the limousine services that are offered. The partnership will further include in-game promotions as well as digital, television and print media placement.
