PHOENIX — A Phoenix resort and limousine company will be featured on the July 27 episode of NBC’s Great American Road Trip, a new reality show premiered earlier this month.

The Wigwam Golf Resort & Spa and Mesa, Ariz.-based Lexani Limousines provided accommodations and transportation for one of the seven featured families participating in the Great American Road Trip. The new reality show, from BBC Worldwide, is a hilarious and relatable new series where seven families from divergent backgrounds are selected to take the journey of a lifetime. Over eight episodes, the families will travel through cities large and small, all while competing in a medley of humorous challenges that will ultimately lead one family to victory.

The show’s filming in Arizona kicked-off with the family of four arriving at Phoenix Sky Harbor on May 30. Lexani provided the family’s transportation in a 14-passenger stretch Navigator from the airport to the Wigwam Golf Resort & Spa, where the family enjoyed a luxurious one-night stay in a 1,200 square-foot suite at the legendary resort. Receiving the royal treatment, as part of the show requirements, mom and dad enjoyed an indulgent spa experience at the resort’s Red Door Spa and the family was treated to an afternoon of poolside fun, a special family dinner hosted by the resort’s Red’s Steakhouse, and fireside s’mores.

Departing the Wigwam on May 31, Lexani provided one-way transport for the family in a stretch Navigator to the Meteor Crater just west of Winslow, Ariz., the family’s next stop on the Great American Road Trip.

The episode featuring the Wigwam Golf Resort & Spa and Lexani Limousines will air on Monday, July 27, at 8 p.m. PST on NBC to million of viewers nationwide.
