Using TNCs Could Be Cheaper Than Owning A Car By 2027
The cost of ridehailing is expected to decrease dramatically with the dawn of self-driving cars.
MALVERN, Penn. — Employees of Livery Coach Software recently bought the assets of the company, which now operates under the name Livery Coach Solutions, LLC, and are preparing to launch the next generation of software solutions for ground transportation companies.
Livery Coach Solutions is now led by partners David Hirsch, president; An Vo, director of development; and Chip Bowman, director of support. Previous owner Dennis Adams sold Livery Coach Software’s assets to the management team. He now focuses on his two companies — Celebrity Limousine Chauffeured Transportation and Celebrity Jet Charter, a private jet brokerage service for the limousine industry.
The new executive management team completed the acquisition on May 29, and plans to maintain its role in chauffeured transportation industry technology. Livery Coach Solutions is sharpening the company’s focus on new product development to keep pace with its growing customer base. The next generation of Livery Coach products are being designed to take advantage of technology improvements and ensure that Livery Coach can continue improving client services such as operations integration, staff management, physical onsite installation, and software training sessions.
The Livery Coach Solutions management team has cultivated years of experience and service to the ground transportation industry.
“We’re independent and employee owned,” Hirsch said. “We’re focused on serving our clients, whether they operate small or large fleets, and moving our technology products forward.”
Dennis Adams said, “Looking at my options, I thought it was best for our customers and the industry to sell the company to my employees, an experienced team dedicated to technology and customer service. They’re dedicated only to building the next generation of Livery Coach technology solutions and maintaining top-notch client support.”
Adams later told LCT the company keeps its four employees, three of whom are the new partners. He said he had several other offers but decided to sell to the people most familiar with his products, service, and customers.
Livery Coach has about 100 software clients in the chauffeured transportation industry. Adams bought the company in 2000 to complement his Philadelphia area chauffeured transportation service, which now has 40 vehicles and 50 employees, and his charter jet brokerage that enables clients to make an all-in-one reservation for private jets and luxury ground transportation.
The transition to the new owners should be seamless for software customers, who can access the same support and consultation for Livery Coach products as the new team prepares to roll out a newer, advanced version next year, Adams said.
Adams said he has plenty to work on with his chauffeured and charter jet services, and plans to remain a key figure in the industry. “Someone told me that now I simply have two companies instead of three.”
