WASHINGTON, D.C. — The private franchises of Carey International have recently formed the Association of Independently Owned CI Franchises to create a strategic alliance among its members and the Carey transportation system.

Initiatives to take advantage of the combined talents of these privately owned companies include:

• The formation of a “20 Group” within the association to benchmark financial data and best practices.

• Bulk purchasing opportunities for vehicles, supplies and services.

• Coordination of system wide sales initiatives.

• Provide a cohesive system to coordinate operational initiatives between Carey owned franchises, call centers and headquarters.

The formation of this association will better organize the franchises as improvements are implemented while also taking advantage of each independently owned local companies’ ability to provide personalized service for its clients.

“This is an important step in facilitating the client-centric focus that has become one of the most highly recognized parts of the Carey International footprint,” said Peter Browne, president of the Association of Independently Owned CI Franchises.

Carey International is the world’s leading chauffeured transportation company providing service in 55 countries and 550 cities.
