TORONTO — Five chauffeured transportation companies have adopted new environmental sustainability strategies to cut their carbon emissions.

Bayview Limousine (Seattle), Carey of Austin (Austin, TX), Concierge Limousine (Huntington Beach, CA), St. Louis Transportation (St. Louis) and Vision Limousine (Los Angeles) have all recently joined the Green Ride Global program to reduce the carbon footprints of their operations.

“Exceeding client expectations when it comes to environmental sustainability programming is exactly what these forward thinking companies are doing,” said Justin Raymond, President and CEO of Green Ride Global. “More and more corporations that rely on chauffeured ground transportation are looking for environmental measurements and reporting inside best practice program methodologies. Fortune 1000 corporations are now able to differentiate between ground transportation providers that say they are environmentally friendly and those that can demonstrate actual reductions in their greenhouse gas footprint via third party validated supply chain reporting.”

A core component of any environmental sustainability program such as Green Ride Global’s should be aimed at achieving operational GHG reductions, making the subsequent cost-savings attributed to reduced electricity use, waste diversion, and water retention available during an economic slump.

Green Ride Global members have an ISO-14001 compliant environmental management system in place that enables them to achieve GHG reductions that directly correlate with the emissions reduction targets set by corporations, governments, and institutions worldwide.

Green Ride Global (GRG) creates and implements third-party validated environmental sustainability programs for the transportation industry, with a focus on chauffeured ground transportation companies.
