NEW YORK CITY — The Hereford Insurance Co. recently announced it will partner with select radio groups in a loss control program geared toward livery vehicles in New York City. The company says it has secured membership of 59 of the city’s operators, including Executive Charge, Ace Car and Limo Service, and Avalon Corporate Car.

Hereford’s goal is to increase its members’ profitability by reducing accident frequency, which it sees as beneficial to both companies. The program will include; safety awareness classes, defensive driving classes, distribution of safety literature, and on-site consultation. Hereford’s safety consultant, Dawn Bristol, will work closely with regulatory agencies in an effort to keep its customers updated on relevant rules and regulations affecting the industry.
