ALBANY, N.Y. – Premiere Transportation Group – Upstate New York’s largest provider of chauffer-driven transportation services – is “Going Green.” Premiere’s President David Brown outlined the company’s plan to convert its vehicles to use propane as its primary fuel.

Propane was chosen for the fleet for a variety of reasons. “Propane is safer than gasoline, diesel, methanol, and ethanol,” Brown said. “It is readily available. And, propane produces far less carbon monoxide emissions – up to 50% when compared to the same vehicle operating on gasoline.”

With headquarters in Albany, N.Y., Premiere Transportation Group is comprised of Premiere Limousine Service, Premiere Charter Service, and Premiere Express Shuttle. Premiere has a fleet of about 50 vehicles to accommodate the needs of individuals and groups. In 2006, Premiere acquired Fairfield Executive Livery of Fairfield, Connecticut. In 2004, Premiere acquired two of its competitors – Tri City Limousine and Main Limousine.
