TORONTO, ONTARIO — Global Alliance Worldwide Chauffeured Services and Avondale Limousine Service have merged to form one of the Toronto area’s largest full-service luxury limousine services. An agreement in principal was reached on June 1st and the companies were on track to be fully integrated by July 1. The newly merged company projects annual revenues of more than $5 million (Canadian). The Avondale brand name will be discontinued with all customers serviced by the new company.

Global Alliance COO Joe Ironi said the deal was a byproduct of a close working relationship with Avondale that brings a talented group of people to the merged company. Ironi said, “We are absolutely thrilled to be in a business partnership with Angelo and Grace Sarris. Not only are they two of the sharpest executives in the ground transportation industry, but they bring a top-notch team with them. We believe that joining with them will allow us to expand our client base to a level that was not previously possible.”

Global Alliance’s client base is heavily concentrated to the corporate and entertainment sector, according to the company. Global Alliance also maintains important strategic alliances with several large U.S.–based limousine networks. The newly merged Global Alliance is now owned in a partnership which includes Joe Ironi, along with brother Jeff and father Isaac, Gus Sertage, an industry veteran and former owner of Premier Livery, as well as Angelo and Grace Sarris.
