NEW YORK CITY — The event transportation market is growing according to recent reports from ground transportation suppliers. More companies are interested in ground transportation programs for corporate events and last-minute meetings, rather than relying on taxicabs and other forms of public transportation.

In response, companies like Boston-based Boston Coach are shifting their roles by training employees to provide proper meetings services. The company says it is making the meetings market one of its top priorities. A-1 Limousine in New Jersey says that assigning ground transportation to a single company eliminates the inconsistency that travelers may experience by using other forms of transportation. The company utilizes software designed specifically for event transportation.
