NORFOLK, VA. — Carey VIP Airport Connection recently launched a new shuttle service at Norfolk International Airport to transport passengers to and from the airport.

The airport recently revoked its relationship with former provider, Lee Perry Rempas’ Airport Express (LPR), which has accumulated a large debt to the Airport Authority since it began services in 2003. LPR offered to step down from the service after its financial troubles were publicly revealed last spring. The company agreed to stay on board for another five months until the airport obtained another provider. LPR says it wishes Carey luck and will do its best to make the transition a smooth one. Carey says it has purchased a fleet of Crown Victorias with more leg room and Ford vans with individual seating and a center aisle for the service.
