The members of the Philadelphia Limousine Association re-elected Nick Tropiano as president at their association meeting in January. Tropiano said that one of his main goals this year is to resolve the parking situation at the Philadelphia Airport.

?We?re trying to work with the airport and the city parking authority to get some new spots.? Tropiano said.

Another issue Tropiano explained that the association will address is the large number of unlicensed or ?gypsy? operators that currently work at the airport.

?The PUC is working with the airport and with our association to get a lot of the hustlers out,? he said. ?Some arrests of these operators who are soliciting fares have been made by the PUC.?

Tropiano will also be working on completing some of last year?s business. The association is actively working with the state administration in Harrisburg to create clear-cut statewide regulations regarding limousine. ?We?re all here for the same reason ? to better our industry,? Tropiano said.

The results of the association?s elections are:

President- Nick Tropiano Vice president ? Ted Henderson Secretary/treasurer ? Philip Jagiela

Board members: Rob Euler ? King Limousine Mike Adleman ? Prestige Carriage Ron DeJulius ? Carey Limousine Philadelphia Tony Viscusi ? Dav El/ Philadelphia Alan Candeub - Park Avenue
