Federal Coach Adds 80 Employees in 2006

FORT SMITH, ARK. — Federal Coach LLC announced that it added 80 employees last year at its 170,000 square foot Fort Smith, Ark. facility. The company said its revenue has increased 20% since it was purchased in 2005 by Poindexter & Co. The addition of the new employees brings Federal’s head count to 325 workers.

According to Federal Coach President Bob Whitehouse, its vehicle sales have increased 40%, year-over-year. He said, now that travel has picked up from five years ago, the coming year is looking just as promising and that Federal has a target to grow its revenue by 15% annually.

The company has added a number of new vehicles to its product line, including a new mobility van, a larger freightliner bus, and new design enhancements for its funeral cars.
