RALEIGH, N.C. — The North Carolina Limousine Association (NCLA) recently elected new officers during a January meeting. The newly elected officers are:

•President: Carolyn Henson, president of Prestige Limousine

•Vice President: Robin May, president of Specialty Occasions

•2nd Vice President: Doug Patterson, CEO Capital Style Limousine

•Secretary: Carrie Peele, owner of Blue Diamond Limousine

•Treasurer: Jerry Thomas, owner of Prime Time Limousine

During the meeting, an educational program was held for the membership. Randy London, president of Professional Safety Support Systems in Charlotte, N.C., was hired to provide attendees with DOT compliance training as well as a certification program for drug and alcohol safety.

“These are important programs that our members are very concerned with,” said association president Carolyn Henson. “We were very happy to be able to provide these services to our membership at no cost.” Henson added that the NCLA plans to continue with a strategic educational program for the association members. “The association is here to benefit the members in not only representation, but in any aspect we can.”
