BOSTON — Commonwealth Worldwide Chauffeured Transportation recently announced it has adopted the FleetBOOK system, the industry's first network-wide application, to manage affiliate reservations. Commonwealth — with offices in Boston and New York — operates a network of affiliated companies that comprises more than 400 service providers in every primary and secondary market both domestically and internationally.

Previously, the company said managing farm-out ride data among its affiliates and the home office was a daunting task, given the lofty level of customer service Commonwealth demands. "Our customers deserve the highest quality service, both in their local and destination cities", said Tami Saccoccio, Commonwealth’s national affiliate director. "By employing FleetBOOK, we are able to distribute and manage the rides much more efficiently among our affiliates, allowing us to focus on quality control and let the automation do the process work."

FleetBOOK enables limousine companies to select reservations they wish to "farm out" to an affiliate and automatically have the data entered into the affiliate's system, returning confirmation numbers and any status updates. Modifications and cancellations are handled in a similar style. FleetBOOK has formed a technical alliance with the industry's leading software providers, allowing ride data to flow seamlessly among limousine providers using dissimilar systems.

Mark Kenny of FleetBOOK said, "We are delighted to have one of the industry's premier network providers select FleetBOOK to handle its affiliate transactions. Commonwealth's reputation for stringent quality control makes it doubly satisfying. The company realizes that while significantly driving down process costs is important, the greatest value is in increasing service quality and, by extension, customer satisfaction. That's Commonwealth's goal and we're proud to be part of that."
