DETROIT — Cadillac is evaluating the timing of its DTS-L livery sedan market introduction. After receiving positive industry feedback on the sedan, and also due to a shift in internal program resources, Cadillac is retiming the introduction of the DTS-L in order to meet its own high quality and safety standards.

The DTS-L is an extended version of the DTS sedan offering more rear seat room and targeted toward the chauffeured transportation industry. Cadillac Professional Vehicles demonstrated the DTS-L concept car at the 2007 International LCT Show in Las Vegas and received a good deal of interest in the car from attendees, according to representatives from Cadillac Professional Vehicles. Cadillac remains focused on the DTS-L livery sedan, and is currently developing program timing information for the 2008 model year.
