KUALA LAMPUR, MALAYASIA – To help raise money for Asia’s tsunami victims, former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad, 79, plans to auction his services as a part-time chauffeur.

The country’s longest-serving premier will chauffeur the nine highest bidders around the Formula One racetrack, south of Malaysia’s capital Kuala Lumpur.

The controversial statesman has chosen a four-wheel-drive Porsche Cayenne as his vehicle. No one is expecting a lap record.
