AUSTIN, Texas – Police said they are searching for two people who shot a limousine driver Monday morning and left him for dead. Alfred Adams, 55, was carjacked on Sixth Street downtown just before 3:00 a.m. Monday. Shortly afterward he was shot along the "Motor Mile" just south of U.S. Highway 290. Police said the suspects left the limo in the parking lot of a doughnut shop just off of Stassney Lane.

Adams is in stable condition, but he still hasn't been able to communicate with investigators, police said.
