DENVER — Actress Jessica Biel, star of TV’s “7th Heaven” and named “The Sexiest Woman Alive,” by Esquire magazine raised $30,000 in a celebrity auction to help Denver teenager Molly Bloom, who lost her leg and part of her pelvis after a Hummer stretch limousine ran her over and dragged her 38 feet on May 13. The driver faces a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving resulting in serious bodily injury.

The winning bid came from a man who wished to remain anonymous. The man identified himself only as John, a senior vice president for an oil and gas company. The proceeds from the benefit will help with Bloom’s medical expenses, said Jeanne Lee, one of the event organizers.
