The explosive growth that was once predicted in the use of wireless, Internet-enabled devises did not materialize. This has prompted Qsent to discontinue supporting its iQlimo service as of January.

Like many other wireless-Internet services, iQlimo suffered from lack of users.

According to a company spokesperson, the decision to stop supporting iQlimo wireless Internet service was planed after it became clear that recent improvements to the service had not significantly increased use, due in large part to the very limited number of wireless-Internet users overall.

The Oregon-based Qsent notified operators of its decision in late January
