TORRANCE, CALIF. -- LCT has released the final course curriculum for an all-day chauffeur training program offered September 12 at the Mohegan Sun Resort & Casino in Connecticut. This exclusive program, which includes a two- part training series and an open book test, is being administered by the Cincinnati-based Executive Chauffeuring School.

“This live program was first introduced at the 2005 LCT Show last March with more than 80 participants joining the class,” said Sara Eastwood, publisher of LCT Magazine and LCT Eastern Conference show chair. “Based on their responses, which were very positive, more depth was added to the program and the hours were increased to cover more content. We are very excited about this upgraded chauffeur training program and believe it will be extremely popular with our attendees.” The first part of the curriculum covers the three most critical chauffeur attributes including:

* professional appearance

* an overview of quality driving skills

* chauffeur etiquette

The second part of the training program analyzes how to instruct and lead a chauffer team and covers:

* criteria for hiring

* how to keep a good chauffeur

* lead chauffeur expectations

Chauffeurs who complete the course will gain the valuable tools necessary to train an entire team of chauffeurs on- site in a consistent, proven style established by the oldest chauffeur training school, which has been training chauffeurs since 1983. At the end of the full-day program attendees are awarded a Certification of Completion upon passing the Official Chauffeur Training Test.

The LCT Eastern Conference, held September 12-13, 2005, is a trade-only event for the limousine industry and is sponsored by Ford Motor Company and endorsed by the NLA and NELA. Other event highlights include the Automation Theater and a detailing clinic on the show floor, and the Association Pavilion, which will represent NELA/LOC, NSLA/LILA, PRLA, LANJ and the ALIMO/VLA/WMLA. LCT East also will have a 40,000-square-foot ballroom devoted to exhibitors. For a complete event schedule, registration and for more information, please visit www.lcteast.com.
