MCLEAN, Va. — USA Today recently analyzed data from the Transportation Security Administration on airport security wait lines and calculated at which airports travelers may experience the heaviest delays.

Topping the list was the Harrisburg International Airport (MDT) in Pennsylvania, which had the longest wait line measured in minutes at 230. The next highest security wait time was Nashville International Airport (BNA) in Tennessee with a maximum security wait time of 219 minutes.

The airport with the lowest wait time was the Kahului-Maui Airport (OGG) in Hawaii, whose highest security wait was 13 minutes, followed closely by El Paso International Airport (ELP), with a longest wait of 14 minutes.

Although LAX in Los Angeles, Calif. was the Number One busiest airport on the list, its maximum wait time during the study was only 64 minutes.
