DUI Athletes Should Have Hired Limos

MIAMI — A recent influx of athletes charged with driving under the influence has Miami-Dade county residents wondering why they don’t choose to take one of the 115 limousine services listed in the area. Wealthy athletes, like San Francisco 49ers Antonio Bryant, arrested in November while drunk driving in a Lamborghini, face game suspensions, financial, and legal consequences.

More recently, Florida Marlins pitcher Dontrelle Willis was arrested in South Beach for being under the influence behind the wheel of a Bentley. Some are questioning the lifestyles that young athletes have access to and why people with enough money to afford chauffeured transportation still insist on driving under the influence.
