ATLANTA — Greene Classic Limousines announced that president and founder Jeff Greene has been elected president of the NLA. Greene was elected on Feb. 25 at the association's meeting at the Venetian Resort & Casino in Las Vegas prior to the start of the International LCT Show (ILCT).

Greene founded Greene Classic Limousines in 1988 while working as an officer for the Atlanta Police Department, where he was last assigned as a pilot on the helicopter squad. During his time in law enforcement, he also worked part-time in private security at Atlanta nightclubs. It was while working at a nightclub, where limousine business was brisk, that his idea was hatched. In Nov. 2005, Greene Classic Limousines was ranked Number One among Atlanta's limousine companies according to annual rankings published by the Atlanta Business Chronicle. The company also was ranked 60th in the nation, based on fleet size, by LCT Magazine.
