ATLANTA — Christopher Martin, a special education teacher who drove a stretch limousine on the side to cover his bills, received an unexpected, generous gratuity: reimbursement of tuition costs. VIP clients who used his chauffeuring services over the course of a week liked the driver so much that they paid-off his student loan, which he’d taken out for his master's degree.

As Martin receives his doctorate from the University of Georgia, he'll carry the memory of their unexpected generosity more than five years ago. "I was speechless," Martin said.
