WASHINGTON, D.C. — Carey International COO Gary Kessler has assumed the company presidency following last week’s resignation of former president and CEO Devin Murphy. Kessler, who will also retain the title of COO, has been with the company since 1999, acting as part of the general counsel, executive vice president of operations, and most recently, executive vice president.

“Mr. Kessler has helped develop the company and create a firm foundation on which Carey can continue to grow,” said Carey board chairman Robert Tarr.
