WILLISTON, N.D. – Riding in style from Williston to Minot was an exciting adventure for Margaret Meek, 77, and her husband Merle, 79. Neither had ridden in a limousine before receiving the gift from relatives over Christmas.

Dr. Arie and Rayetta Meek Fischback of Minot did not know what to get her parents for Christmas.

"When people get older they have so many things it is hard to know what to get them," Rayetta said.

The Fischback family wanted Grandpa and Grandma Meek to come and spend Christmas with them, but because both had suffered strokes and neither drove anymore, it became a question of how to get them to Minot.

Arie and Rayetta came up with the idea of a limo ride as a Christmas gift. "The limo ride is certainly not a usual gift given, but in this case it is the perfect gift," Rayetta said.
