ROCKFORD, ILL. — Quincy Heath, owner of Heath Limousine, picked up nearly 40 people on Thanksgiving to give them a luxury ride to First Christian Church for a free meal. Heath picked up passengers from the Rockford Rescue Mission, bus stops, and other locations in town.

For years, pastors Barbara and Alphonzo Heath of First Christian Church had quiet family dinners on Thanksgiving, but for the last two years, they wanted to branch out. Alphonzo’s brother Quincy offered his limousine service to help bring people to the church’s dinner. This was the second year First Christian Church had a free Thanksgiving dinner for the community.
