Philly Chauffeur Robbed and Murdered While on Duty

OLNEY, PENN. — A chauffeur who crashed his Town Car in Philadelphia earlier this week was discovered to be fatally shot before the accident occurred. Thirty-two-year-old husband and father, Luis Cucuretta of Family Car & Limo Service, was also robbed of his fare money.

According to the company, Cucuretta’s death comes at a time when the danger of driving a chauffeured vehicle in the area is increasing. It says its drivers have been assaulted or robbed several times and another of its drivers was robbed and killed four years ago. Investigators have no suspect in the murder.
