MINEOLA, NY — Last week, 130 luxury stretch limousines, luxury buses, black car and livery drivers smashed all unofficial world records with their Fourth Annual Nassau Suffolk Limousine Association (NSLA) Holiday Toy Drive for needy kids, making an unusual delivery.

The World Record Limo Convoy for Charity departed from Belmont Park at 11:00 a.m. and converged at Eisenhower Park, East Meadow, N.Y. for the VIP Ceremony at noon, where the NSLA Board of Directors and members unloaded all their toys onto “Toys for Tots” vans. The enormous convoy carried so many gifts that all the vans were filled to capacity.

Through the gift of a shiny new toy, the NSLA and NLA, along with The Salvation Army Toy Drive and the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program, have provided happiness and hope to disadvantaged children who might otherwise be overlooked this holiday season.
