Carey International Moves to Protect Brand Leadership

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Carey International Inc. has newly established the www.carey.com URL for its website and signed an agreement with Cyveillance to protect the company's brand in the Internet marketplace. Cyveillance’s brand protection solutions provide Carey with technology to defend against online brand abuse, including misleading or fraudulent search engine marketing, Internet traffic diversion, and other brand dilution tactics and schemes.

Carey’s website can now be found on its easier-to-remember brand URL and the company has also assigned the ”@carey.com” address to all company email addresses. The new carey.com address is an important step to overcome fraudulent examples of non-affiliated limousine companies using the Carey brand to market themselves to unwary online customers, the company said.
