Thirty-six of Atlanta?s young cancer patients and their families were taken to the city?s annual Festival of Trees in style, compliments of local limousine companies.

The children, patients of Children?s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston and Scottish Rite, rode to the holiday event held in early December, in 36 stretch limousines. They began their journey at the Ronald McDonald Clinic and enjoyed a private two-hour play date at the Festival of Trees.

?This motorcade is an event that our drivers volunteer for every year,? said Arthur Panayotopoulus, president of Olympus Limousines and organizer of the event ?They get more excited about being in the presence of these children than their normal clients, who include movie stars and sports celebrities.?

The limousine companies that participated and sponsored the event were: All Executive Limousines, Atlanta Livery Co., Atlantic Limousines, Bulldog Limo, Atlanta Chariots, Daniel Limousine, Greene Classic Limousines, Limo Time West, Limo?s by Design, Limousine Bodyguard, London Livery Ltd., Luxury Atlanta, Olympus Limousines, Outler Transportation, Premier Chauffeured Transportation and Superior Limousine.

In addition, the City of Atlanta and Emory police departments provided volunteer escorts for the motorcade. It is Georgia?s longest limousine motorcade of the year.
