OKLAHOMA CITY ? In an annual inspection program, the Oklahoma City Police Department and the Transportation Division of the Oklahoma Corporation Commission, posing as limousine riders, recently exposed two limo companies operating without for-hire business licenses or insurance.

Both the owner and the operator of one of the services were given six $750 citations each. They were also transported to the Municipal Courts where they posted bond.

Oklahoma Police say they are aware that many companies operate illegally and represent a legitimate safety concern and will continue to crack down on operators who are not properly licensed or insured.
