Uber Works To Throw Dirt At Taxi Industry

Uber Technologies Inc., which is facing criticism after an executive suggested he was willing to pay to investigate reporters’ lives, has taken steps to hire researchers to “weaponize facts” against the taxi industry.

FROM LCT: In a response to reports of Uber's tactics against the taxi industry,  Taxi Limousine & Paratransit Association President Michael Fogarty stated to LCT on Nov. 25: "I am surprised Uber would choose to invest resources on investigating their opposition. I believe they would be better served using these funds to come into regulatory compliance.”
