Charter Tour Bus Crashes Twice In One Day

REDDING, Calif. -- One person died and 30 others were injured after a charter bus heading from Los Angeles to Washington state crashed in northern Shasta County, the California Highway Patrol said Sunday.

The same bus struck a Denny's restaurant earlier Sunday in Red Bluff, about 50 miles south, but no one was hurt, California Highway Patrol Officer Jeff Borgen said.
