Lyft Faces The Ultimate TNC Insurance Test In Fatal Accident

SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- A Lyft passenger died in a crash on a highway outside of Sacramento early Saturday morning, an accident that will test the car-service company’s insurance policies.

    Were the passengers using their seat belts? If not, that could be a large factor in the fatality. In California, the driver is responsible to ensure that all passengers are properly using their seat belts.
