ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. -- LCT/NLA Show East is set to relocate next year to Harrah's Resort now that Caesar’s Entertainment, the management arm of Harrah's and Caesars Atlantic City, has confirmed that its new convention hall will be open in time.

“We knew that the facility was under construction when we first booked Caesars in 2012," said LCT Publisher and Show Chair Sara Eastwood-McLean. "We just did not know when it would open and whether or not it would accommodate buses and other vehicles. With confirmation that the facility will open in August 2015, we were able to move forward on securing next year’s event. It is on the Marina side next to the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa, so we think it will be a nice change of scenery.  Our room block is in the Waterfront tower – the newest section of Harrah’s and a short indoor walk to the convention hall.”

The event will take place Sunday, Nov. 8 to Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015. “The show was moved later into November to avoid the published dates of conflicting conventions, including the National Funeral Directors Association show and the Taxi, Limousine & Paratransit Convention," said Kristen Messineo, LCT events manager. "Both of those events took up most of October.  Additionally, we decided that moving further away from Halloween was best for attendees with families who enjoy that family day.”

The trade show team scouted venues from Washington D.C. to New England, only to circle back to Atlantic City which was the birthplace of the first LCT trade show on Dec. 9, 1984. The storied coastal city still offers the best travel rates, central location, entertainment options, and coastal ambiance for an East Coast limo tradeshow.
