Tesla S Guzzling More Electricity Than Thought?

Over the 2,400 miles travelled during the test, that difference meant an electricity bill $26 greater than expected. The tester noted, however, that the Tesla still saved him $334 at the gas station.

    From what I've read, they aren't guzzling fuel but running through expensive tires instead... reports of people needing to replace them every 10k-15k miles or so. Maybe that's a more topic then being $26 off on a 2600 mile trip.
