WASHINGTON, D.C. -- California operator Maurice Brewster joined about 40 company executives and their small business suppliers on Friday to meet with President Obama at the White House to discuss ways to strengthen the U.S. economy, according to a White House press pool report.

Brewster is the CEO of Mosaic Global Transportation in San Francisco and president of the Minority Limousine Operators of America Association.

The President announced the creation of SupplierPay, a new partnership with the private sector to strengthen small businesses by increasing their working capital, so they can grow their businesses and hire more workers.

I enjoyed reading about the programs president Obama has implemented for the small business operators, lowering the interest rates for small businesses while increasing the working capital is key.
