National Roadcheck 2014 In Full Swing

Some 17 buses and trucks will be inspected every minute in the U.S., Canada and Mexico during the three-day 27th annual International Roadcheck which started Tuesday and concludes Thursday. Sponsored by the Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA), inspectors will fan out along major highways across North America conducting vehicle and driver compliance inspections. Read article here. In addition, the U.S. DOT announced that it has shut down 26 bus operations during its largest single safety crackdown in the agency’s history.
