Posted on May 1, 2014

The owner of a party bus will not face felony manslaughter charges stemming from the death of a man who fell off the bus and died last year, the Los Angeles County district attorney's office said Thursday.

The Los Angeles County district attorney's office said there wasn't enough evidence to support even lesser charges of vehicular manslaughter or involuntary manslaughter against Ayrapet Kasabyan, 42.

the problem in los angeles is the limousine owners that purchased an old shuttle bus 1999/2002 on ebay for around 4k and then found a limousine chop shop to turn it into a party bus. total spent less then 15,000 in the minds of these amateur operators is that getting 100.00 per hour is a great return on their investment and they turn a blind eye to the major safety issues- emergency windows worn out, a/c unit does not work properly followed by a jack in the box craigslist driver that does not know anything about checking the windows/emergency exits or doing a pre trip inspection. to give everyone a better example of the issue , I was shocked weeks ago when I looked on the freeway and spotted over 9 home made party buses...... heading back to base somewhere in riverside...... I went online to do my own investigation of where these buses are coming from... I came out with awesome limousine service..... I went on yelp to read the horrible reviews and came to the conclusion that they have suv limousines on their web sites and prices per hour.. the client books the limousine and they send a junk bus instead.... as a so called "up grade". "C.J." Saraceno was a victim of an old party bus that dropped them off at their dinner , then the manager from the restaurant says a much smaller party bus showed up..... this is the typical bait and switch or double booking job where the reserved vehicle is sent to do another job and it cant make it back in time so the company scrambles to find someone else to pick up the customers. we also have the so called brokers that don't own any limousines and advertise illegally.... the put pictures of new tiffany buses and pretend that's what the customer is renting... the simple way to eliminate these deaths is to change the laws..... a limousine company will operate with a puc license and has to have a web site that can only have the vehicles the company owns.. no more lies of the vehicle broke down so we s
