Uber Moves Into Napa Valley, Eyes South Jersey

On April 3, Uber announced that, at long last, it would bring its app-powered ride service to Napa Valley. Even though Uber is already scattered throughout nearly all California markets — from San Francisco and Sacramento to Fresno and Santa Barbara to L.A. — the arrival in Napa Valley is huge, thanks to the region’s wine/restaurant industry and its longtime dearth of transportation.

It turns out that Uber is looking to bring UberX not to Philadelphia but to South Jersey, where there's no PPA to get in the way. .
