With the New York State Senate recently passing a 2014 budget resolution  to revoke the sales tax on black car and limousine services, industry associations are now putting pressure on a the state Assembly to also repeal the tax.

David Bastian, a member of the LBTOUNY legislative committee, urged all interested parties and individuals to reach out to their local Assembly legislators to support ending the tax, and also to drum-up support from association members, and drivers to lobby for the repeal. There also is a petition that supporters can sign until Monday, March 31.
