Today, we depart from driving tips to talk about dangers at pickup locations. Anytime you feel something is dangerous to you, you must react to the situation to keep yourself safe.

Dangerous Dogs: If there is a dog that appears to be menacing to you, stay in the vehicle and call for the client to come out. If you are unable to make contact, honk the horn until someone comes outside. If you are out of the vehicle when you encounter a dog, use your clipboard if needed to protect yourself. Face the dog and walk slowly backwards to safety.

Other Dangerous Situations: Never exit your vehicle if you believe doing so would endanger yourself. Call your client on the phone to explain your situation without exiting your vehicle and facing any potential attack.
