An Arcade On Wheels Rolls With Thrills

Thrills on Wheels” is a 40-foot bus that has been converted into a mobile arcade on wheels. The game bus offers seven full-size standup arcades, and stations for Playstation, Xbox, and Wii that have four large-screen high-def TVs. The unit is expectedly chartered out for kids parties and is also booked for corporate events.

It is more of an attraction vehicle, and not really used for transport, but it just shows you how a little creativity and ingenuity can turn something mundane like a transit bus into something fun and profitable. If safety for the passengers during transit could be remedied, I see this bus having potential as a charter vehicle too, where the arcade keeps guests entertained while they’re being taken to and from an event.

The Thrills on Wheels Bus is an example of imaginative automotive design, something the limo industry has pioneered. Do any operators make a note to put video games in vehicles? Maybe SUVs for kids? You can leave comments below.

I like the creativity of this bus. Being in a smaller market we never get asked about having a game consul set up and ability to play games. We often do get asked about TVs and DVDs, which all 4 of our limos are equipped with fully working TV/DVD.
