Chauffeurs Need To Be Comfortable With Different Dashboards

Make sure to familiarize yourself and your chauffeur and driver teams with all the controls on your fleet vehicles before you put them into service. In our business, we tend to operate many different vehicles. One day you might be in a van and the next day you're in a bus.

Before you ever put a vehicle in gear, make sure the seat is adjusted to your liking. Once you have done that, adjust the mirrors for optimal viewing. It is important that you always adjust the seat first and then the mirrors. If you will be driving at night, make sure you know the location of the light switch. If you will need to adjust the climate controls during the trip, make sure you know where the temperature control and fan speed controls are located. A moment of distraction looking for these things while traveling on a highway could spell disaster. Know before you go!
